I met my Reading Challenge of 50 books throughout 2016 by reading…exactly 50 books! There were a few ups and downs along the way, including some new favorites and a handful of disappointments. I started college a few months ago which has been significantly cutting into my reading time, but I’m hoping that this will improve over the next several months!
So since I have been gone awhile I decided to show you my latest books I’ve picked up. Some are a little beat up as I often peruse used bookstores as well as places like Barnes and Noble, but who doesn’t love a book with a little character?
Lou Clark knows lots of things. She knows how many footsteps there are between the bus stop and home. She knows she likes working in The Buttered Bun tea shop and she knows she might not love her boyfriend Patrick.
What Lou doesn’t know is she’s about to lose her job or that knowing what’s coming is what keeps her sane.
Will Traynor knows his motorcycle accident took away his desire to live. He knows everything feels very small and rather joyless now and he knows exactly how he’s going to put a stop to that.
What Will doesn’t know is that Lou is about to burst into his world in a riot of colour. And neither of them knows they’re going to change the other for all time.
IT’S DECEMBER! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. This means Christmas is near (*hyperventilates*) and the new year is just around the corner. New year means loads of new books. I’ll talk about the top 5 debut novels I’m looking forward to (yes, 5, I’m sorry but I don’t really follow new/debut releases, so that’s all I’ve got).
