Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
Autumn is in full swing now and I’ll definitely be spending some cozy afternoons cuddled up with a blanket, a cup of tea and a good book.
1. The Shining by Stephen King
I started this book in May I think, but I’m pretty sure that was just not the right season for a King. It’s my first of his works and I’m really excited to get back to it next month
2. The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons
I had this book since my birthday in March and I saved it for the colder months, because I think it’s set mainly in winter. I might wait until winter to read this, but theoretically it’s on my autumn TBR as well
3. City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
This would be my third time reading this book, and I’m determined that this time I’ll actually continue with the series…
4. A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara
Technically, I don’t own this book yet, but I hope it arrives before I move country on Thursday, so that I can actually read it this fall. I’m super excited about it though and I might have to get my parents to send it to me in case it doesn’t arrive in time
5. The Silkworm by Robert Galbraith
I’m waiting to move to England to actually buy this book, because I think I should be able to get it cheaper there. I’ll probably be buddy reading it with my friend Amber in November!
6. Saeculum by Ursula Poznanski
This is a German book, so… sorry 😀 I’ve owned it for YEARS though and I absolutely loved a different book by her, and since it’s a bit spooky I’ll probably get around to it this autumn.
7. Les Misérables by Victor Hugo
I WANT TO FINALLY READ THIS BOOK
8. The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss
Again, have owned this book for a really long time. I should finally read it and I feel like it’s a good book for the colder months
9. The Rest of Us Just Live Here by the king Patrick Ness
I’m waiting for that to come out in the UK paperback edition and then I will read it ASAP.
10. Red Seas Under Red Skies by Scott Lynch
I absolutely loved The Lies of Locke Lamora so I obviously can’t wait to continue the series. Again, good book for autumn I think
Tell me which of these books I should read first if you’ve read any! What books are on your fall TBR?
Great list! I haven’t read any except City of Bones (I don’t see myself continuing with the series :/) but I have also wanted to read Les Miserables ! I also want to read The Rest of Us Just Live Here ( wow, that is a long title!). Enjoy 🙂

Thanks! 🙂 I see what you mean, I read City of Bones twice and it didn’t blow me away, but in some sort of impulsive fit I once bought the Infernal Devices hardcover boxset, so now I feel kinda bad never reading both series, so I guess I’ll have to 😀

Ikr!! I just want it now… And when I got the book, I didn’t actually know it was romance, but I’ve heard amazing things about it and it’s got a historical background, so I’m sure it’ll be fine.. Tanks! 🙂

The only title on your list I’ve read is City of Bones which I read earlier this year. I also managed to read City of Ashes and City of Glass as well. It is a pretty good series.
Thanks for sharing.
